Here's a tip for all those who want to watch their mkv HD movies on their Xbox 360 or PS3 without long convert times (can be anything between 3-6 hours)

You just load your mkv file choose the simple settings and click convert. It will extract the video and audio files and puts them into a mp4 file which can be read by xbox 360 and PS3.
It took 30min max on my old PC so its pretty good and no loss of quality.
